PortoEye sits right on the harbour front of Kardamena. Three levels, one menu: the street, the balcony over the marina, and a roof bar with nothing between you and the sky. Sit wherever the mood takes you. Start the day here and end it here. Quite a few people do.

Eighteen hours, six reasons.

The doors open at nine and close at three. Everything on the menu, on every floor, all day. This is roughly how it goes.

  1. Coffee

    Freddo, cappuccino, the first tables on the harbour.

  2. Brunch

    Breakfast bowls, pancakes, eggs on toast.

  3. Lunch

    Burgers, gyros plates and pizza from the grill.

  4. Sunset

    The roof fills up. The sky does the rest.

  5. Dinner

    Steaks and platters from the charcoal grill, on whichever floor you like.

  6. Late

    Cocktails and shisha until three.

On the harbour. Look for the Fiat.

Walk along the seafront in Kardamena until the boats are on your right and a three-storey building with plants on every balcony is on your left. That is us. The little green Fiat 500 is usually parked outside.
